The Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association is a not-for-profit association of more than 450 life sciences companies, universities, academic institutions and others working together to provide better health to people everywhere.
Our members enjoy access to many great events throughout the year, purchasing discounts, governmental advocacy, timely industry news, as well as the opportunity to tap into the heart of the life sciences community in Washington.
Members of our association know this is a time of extraordinary opportunity. There is a great deal of momentum that has helped to build a thriving life sciences sector in Washington state, contributing significantly to economic vitality, educational excellence and better health for people everywhere.
Working Together
In 2006, the WBBA, Gov. Chris Gregoire, and the Washington life sciences community set forth a plan to move forward in an increasingly competitive global economy.
Spelled out in the "The Future of Life Sciences in Washington," these recommendations are intended to marshal the life sciences community’s resources and focus state support, to leverage the state’s strengths and counter competitive challenges.
